Troubleshooting of burner faults in condensing boilers
The main reasons for the abnormal operation of condensing boilers and burners are boiler scale, rust, burner blockage, impurities, and other issues. The hardness components carried in water, after continuous evaporation and concentration at high temperature and high pressure, ultimately produce scale or rust in the furnace, which is the main cause of boiler scale and water-cooled wall corrosion. This will lead to a decrease in heat absorption in the water-cooled wall chamber of the boiler, an increase in the outlet temperature of the boiler furnace, and an increase in boiler losses. At the same time, it will also lead to a decrease in heat transfer efficiency. It may also cause an increase in the temperature of the water-cooled wall tube wall, leading to a burst of the water-cooled wall tube, which will directly affect the safe operation of the boiler.
The burners used in condensing boilers generally use liquid and gas injection as the combustion method, making fuel injection smooth and ignition a necessary condition. Four fault points are summarized: ignition rod not igniting, ignition rod having sparks but not igniting, unstable extinguishing or flickering when fuel injection intensity increases, and loud burner noise. The reasons for these problems are different.
The reasons why the ignition rod of the condensing boiler combustion machine does not ignite include: gap blockage, moisture, electric leakage, inconsistent spacing between ignition rods, outer skin damage, short circuit, etc. These reasons are all due to improper operation and lack of regular maintenance. This fault is relatively easy to handle, and can be solved by cleaning, replacing, wiring, and adjusting the distance between ignition rods of the natural gas boiler combustion machine.
The main reasons why the ignition rod of the condensing boiler combustion engine cannot ignite are blockage, poor ventilation, small angle of the air door setting, inappropriate distance between the ignition rod tip and the leading edge of the oil nozzle, blockage of the electromagnetic valve of the first oil gun by debris, blockage of the filter screen of the oil pump itself, and high water content in the oil. This solution is more complicated, and can be solved by cleaning, replacing, debugging, testing, and other methods of the condensing boiler burner.
